Here in the West we celebrate Epiphany on the 6th of January. It closes the twelve days of Christmas that begin on December 25. On this January 6 you celebrate the incarnation of our Lord, even as we celebrate the fact that the glory of the Lord became flesh and that the nations are drawn to that glory from every corner of the world. As the Magi followed the star to the place where the young child lay, it is our privilege to follow the divine star of God’s inspired Word as it leads us to full and free forgiveness, everlasting life, and the certainty of salvation.

It continues to be a matter of joy and amazement that we are privileged to work side by side, and shoulder to shoulder half a world apart. It is happening only because it is God’s will that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

Jesus Christ, born of Mary, true God as well as true Man, is my Lord. If I am to serve, it is by his grace. If we are to serve together, it is by grace. If our work this side of heaven is to be blessed, it is by his grace. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all!

6 січня тут, на Заході, ми святкуємо Богоявлення. Воно завершує 12-денне святкування Різдва Христового, яке розпочалося 25 грудня. Цього ж 6 січня ви святкуєте Втілення нашого Господа, так само як і ми відзначаємо той факт, що слава Господня сталася тілом, і що всі народи світу прилучені до цієї слави з усіх усюд. Подібно до трьох царів, що слідували за зорею, щоб дістатися до місця, де лежить у яслах Дитя, ми маємо привілей слідувати за божественною зорею Богонадхненного Слова, котре скеровує нас до цілковитого і безкоштовного прощення гріхів, вічного життя і певності нашого спасіння.

Продовжує бути справою спільної радості і подивування той факт, що ми маємо привілей працювати разом, пліч-о-пліч по обидва кінці світу. Це можливе тільки завдяки тому, що на те є Божа воля, щоб всі люди спаслися і прийшли до пізнання правди.

Ісус Христос, народжений від Діви Марії, — правдивий Бог і правдива Людина, є моїм Господом. І якщо я покликаний до служіння, то тільки завдяки Його ласці. І якщо ми покликані до служіння разом, то тільки завдяки Його ласці. І якщо наша праця по цей бік небес є благословенна, то тільки завдяки Його ласці. Благодать нашого Господа Ісуса Христа і любов Бога Отця, і спільність з Духом Святим нехай буде з усіма вами!
