August 25, 2005. In Velyka Berezovystia near Ternopil Ukrainian Lutheran Theological Seminary of Holy Sophia has held her celebrations devoted to the 10th anniversary of the Seminary. There was also a dedication of the new building of the Seminary. The ceremony was led by the Deputy to the Rector, Rev. Oleh Yukhymenko with participation of pastors of the Galacian Eparchy. Rector David Webber, Bishop Vyacheslav Horpynchuk as well as many other honorary guests took part in this wonderful event.

August 15, 2005. Five Ukrainian Lutheran girls from three ULC congregations began their one year studies at the Michigan Lutheran Seminary in the USA. While having a name of the Seminary, MLS is one of the boarding schools of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, a sister church of the ULC. Children will study all the subjects and the Word of God.
