February 27, 2006. Bishop Vyacheslav Horpynchuk, Church Secretary Ihor Rudzik and tavrian Eparchy Head, Rev. Oleh Stetsiuk have visited Ivanivka Lutheran Church in Mykolaiv Oblast. Bishop and Synod members have met members of the local congregation as well as leaders of the village community. They have discussed ways of improvement of church's role in the community life and development of the church life in the neighborhoods.

February 26, 2006. Ukrainian Lutheran Church in Bereznehuvate is blessed with her pastor there. During the latest liturgy Master of Divinity Yuriy Tytskiy was ordained to be a pastor. Bishop Vyacheslav Horpynchuk was leading ordination service and his assistants were: Pastor of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Kherson, Rev. Oleh Stetsiuk, Thoughts of Faith mission society mentor, Dr. Wayne Borgwardt, Christ the Savikor Lutheran Church Pastor, Rev. Olexandr Sonne. This liturgy was the first liturgy for Pastor Yuriy. Parish members and guests have greeted new ULC pastor with singing "Many Blessed and Happy Years" and with gifts necessary for the ministry: the Book of Concord in Ukrainian, stoles and Holy Communion set. We wish Pastor Yuriy many blessed years in the ministry to the glory of God!

Oleh Stetsiuk and Thoughts of Faith mission society representatives, Dr. Wayne Borgwardt and his wife Myrna have visited Christ the Savior Lutheran congregation in Mykolaiv. They participated in the liturgy and had a chance to communicate with members of the congregation and its leaders.
